Slowly but surerly getting paint on models. This week's project has been a Koldun Lord that has been sitting primed for the better part of the summer.

My photography skills are pretty weak, but the cloak is a star-lit night sky theme. Not the best execution in the world, but I thought it turned out pretty good. The rest is heavily shaded and lightly washed. Probably one of my favorite WM paint jobs to date :)

Krylon interior/exterior bare metal white. If you use it, make sure you keep your spray distance short as it can 'fur up' on the surface.

My most recent batch of painting I've been using Army Painter white primer. It works quite nicely, but at $11 a can over $3 a can it's a bit expensive.

I usually stick to white paint because my eyes have a really rough time dealing with black. to my eyes a black primed model has no details, no texture, nothing. The whole thing just blurs together. Using a white primer means it takes a bit more paint to cover, but I can see all the details much more easily.
