I'm in a similar watercraft. I own three thousand point of painted Cryx, but fell way behind with my Legion. Some day soon I'll edit this to include my unpainted Legion, and we can place some bets on progress. For example, whoever paints more in a given week gets to kick the other guy in the junk. Just a thought.

Fully painted Legion

Spawning pool and 6 Acolytes
3 Shredders
1 Harrier
5 Blighted Ogrun
1 Scather and crew
Gudrun

Still to go

2 Carniveans
2 Nephilim
5 Shredders
3 Harriers
1 Angelius
1 Seraph
10 Swordsmen
10 Archers and UA
6 Striders
2 Forsaken
1 Death Stalker (sp? Strider solo)
2 Ogrun Chieftains
4 Farrow Bonegrinders
5 Incubi
All 6 warlocks

your in trouble... altough those models were over 80% when I started this thread. I find a unit takes me around 10 to 12 hour to get it table top quality

Sadly I dont have enough skill to make Solo's or warcasters stand out, so I usually get done with those models quickly as I'm unable to do them to great detail.

The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single hackneyed cliche.

unfortunately 100 merc models for me is probably 500 hours of work or so. i could get it done but thats tuff to motivate yourself for. i should probably just do the brian machine gun painting of them, but i like to make each mini i do better than the last if i can, so that is the big slowdown =P

painting minis better then the last mini... Dork... :)

I only have 3k points worth of skorne, which equals out to be somewhere around 130ish figures. However I try not to give any 1 unit more then 15 to 20 hours total. I also dont know If i have the patience to try to make 1 single model stand out well if it took me 7+hours for one mini.

Jim just needs less sleep and he cant get all the models done :)
