Painted these guys over the weekend. Only have a few minor details and basing to go. Still haven't decided how I want to base them. I don't really like the winter bases, but a temperate forrest may look strange with Khador. The Juggernaut has an extra layer of wash and highlighting, but I don't think it really looks better than the Destroyer.

Now I'm waiting for some man-o-war I ordered off of eBay. I've got quite a way to go to get everything I want for a 50pt list.

Thanks, I think it should be brighter, but I'm happy with it. Maybe I'll actually pick up some P3 paint.

Meh... I've been painting with your standard little $1 bottles of craft paint from places lime Michael's for the better part of a decade, and I think its just fine. Longer life to them, that's for sure.

Have you considered rubble bases? Or just use the snow effect sparingly on a forest-style base.

Just finished Ol' Rowdy for a friend. In return for purchasing a good chunk of my army, I'm painting his Cygnar in a highwayman/bandit theme.

Looks good. First green Cygnar i've seen, I like it

Also for taking pictures of mini's try putting a sheet of white paper under and behind it. it helps bring out detail a lot actually.

I know, haha, I'm taking pics with an iPad, I don't think there's much I can do to make them look better. Eventually I'll get my laptop fixed and actually have high quality pics.

Here's the finished product with some additions.

But then I wouldn't know that Weaver Auto Parts carries Gold Eagle.

I had wondered if anyone actually read the newspaper I painted on.

While technically done, I'm not 100% happy with my Butcher. I'm not practiced at drybrushing smaller details on models, so there isn't as much shading on the red. I'll probably end up drybrushing blue and white around the eyes to give them a glowing effect.

And I haven't nailed down what the bases will look like yet. There should be snow, I guess. Oh yeah, I got a man-o-war done as a test model for the two units I have. The orange highlight is a little sloppy, but it sat for days before I finished it off.

Think they look great. Its a lot cleaner than what I've been able to achieve on my Skorne. I'm trying to work up to a 50 pt list too, but you appear to be making better headway than I. I really like the highlights on your red- interested to see how it looks on the table.
