Hey guys,

Scottypotty and myself were playing the other week and we came into a situation where I had to run my jack out of melee in order to contest an objective. I initiated the run, and upon leaving melee range of his unit (I think it was Butcher) he knocked out my jack's legs with a free strike. Now, we assumed that the run would end right there, however, according to the rules, a charge is immediately halted when legs are knocked out, but there was no mention of a run anywhere. We just decided to complete the run (the game was over by that time anyway, I was just prolonging defeat) and decided that Thunderhead started running, lost his legs, and just rolled the rest of the way from the momentum already built lol :).

Anyone have any insight? Common sense would conclude that a run would also be stopped, however, we just couldn't find a cut-and-dry rule regarding it.

Nope, you have already paid the price for running, a freestrike doesn't change that.

This thread covers it for non-warjacks that are hit by blind: http://privateerpressforums.com/showthr ... freestrike
